Gili Islands

We did five dives with my friend Petri in two days at Gili. Dive spots were Secret, Shark Point, Shalow Turbo and Bounty.

Turtle, Shark Point. Turtles are very common here and you see them almost on every dive.

Shark Point is good place to see white tips.

Bounty is old jetty which has collapsed. It's very much like wreck. There you can see a lot of fishes.

Visibility was good or very good on every dive. Something between 15-30m. Shark Point is one of the best dive spot in Gili area. Turtles, rays and sharks usually on every dive. We saw on the dives also seasnake, nudibranches and a lot of all kind of reef fishes.

King Cruiser wreck, Shark Point and Koh Dok Mai




More diving at Phuket. Three dives. King Cruiser wreck, Shark Point and Koh Dok Mai.






King Cruiser was used between Phuket and Phi Phi Islands as a ferry. It sank 1997 and there was 500 people onboard. Luckily nobody died. Wreck is 85 long and 25m width. Visibility is many times quite poor and there can be strong current. It's anyway very interesting place to dive.

Quite big turtle on the deck.
Bridge has already collapsed.

Sea urchins, scorpionfishes, lot of small reef fishes. Visibility was also this time quite poor and the was some current. I like to dive anyway on King Cruiser. Interesting place!

We dived to two small caves. Here is second one.

Two moray eels in the same places. Today we saw many morays here and there.
Beautiful nudibranch.
Giant pufferfish, yellow boxfish, Durban dancing shrimp, nudibranches.

Shark Point and Koh Dok Mai, Phuket

Today I had a diving day here in Phuket again. First dive on Shark Point and second one at Koh Dok Mai.

Beginning of the dive we saw zebra moray eel. First time for me.

In the end of dive we saw two cuttlefishes. I went very close and they didn't go anywhere. Amazing creatures!
I have dived here few times before, but didn't remember how good place this is. So much fishes. Durban dancing shrimp, clownfishes, moray eel, a lot of very big fan corals, nudibranches, titan triggers, very much reef fishes. Very good dive.

Koh Doc Mai is uninhabited island and the dives there are always wall dives.


White eye moray eel.
Diver with the fan corals.
Durban dancing shrimps.
Today visibility was quite bad at Koh Dok Mai. There is anyway quite much marine life. Moray eels, nudibranches, Fan corals, banded boxer shrimp, Durban dancing shrimps, reef fishes. Today was also first time when I dived with Sea Bees Diving. Everything worked very well. Also nice and big boat.
